Thailand is the country which has many resources. Especially, rice is important for Thai people. Thais respect into rice and it is like holy thing , of Thai people. More than the century,Thai cooking is like the treasure from the elderly. And now,Thai food is popular in many countries.


Thai food has the long history. Many Thais and foreigners prefer to eat Thai food very much. Thai food is very tasty, there are five flavours – creamy, spicy, sweet, sour and salty. Mostly, Thai food is easy to cook and it can make in a short time. Every Thai kitchen must have the basic ingredients ; chilli, fish sauce, onion, garlic, shrimp paste ,etc. More than that meat and vegetable are cooking too. There are a lot of cooking methods such as stir-fried, deep-fried, curry, soup. In the past, some Thai food get influence from India, so spices is the important ingredient that cook into Thai food. Moreover, stir-fried get influnce from China too.Therefore, Thai food have more than 225 sorts.

Thai food usually cook with herbs. Herbs have many medical treats, so it is good for health. Thai food reflect to the Thai tradition and culture in the past. And Thai food is an unique style and it symbolises to Thailand also.
